We're back and we have 1 thing to report: they are MORE of an offensive machine than they were last year. Ya, I know, it's hard to imagine but it's true. Jeff Baker is a hoss. Spilbourghs is a hoss. Holliday somehow looks MORE confident up to bat and Tulo looks like he's been in the majors for a decade (although he is 'leaner' looking).
Here's a shot of Hi Corbett from our seats...
Here's a shot of the sweet NLCS banner in right...
Here's a shot of the slimmed-down Tulo...
And here's a shot from our seats there at Scottsdale Stadium (we were in the 4th row 3rd base side) and Yorvit and Morales were busy stretching right in front of us...
And here's a shot of Scottsdale Stadium, home of the Giants during Cactus League play (pretty dull stadium)...
The Rockies are being amazingly discounted already by the national media, it's pretty disgusting actually. Instead they're hyping up Torre and the Dodgers so much that you'd think that the World Series is already decided as being Dodgers-Red Sox (bs). I think Torre will get his butt handed to him by the NL West this year and I think the Rox will be one of the teams doing the butt handing-over. I think the D-bags are also showing themselves to be a fluke last year but the Padres will likely have something to prove.
Overall I'm incredibly proud that Mrs. Mendoza works for the Rockies right now and I suspect that come October '08 a lot of you will be dropping us a line asking how many tickets employees are given for the playoff games and if we can give you some. haha.
Mendoza's 5280 (reasons to befriend Mrs. Mendoza now).

I consider it a very good thing that they're being discounted. Gives 'em more to prove and fight for.
As for playoff tickets: Just remember, son, we go way back.
