Tulo and Helton got short-changed!

No Gold glove awards for either even though both had better stats than the winners (Rollins and Lee).
Hopefully this does not portend to Holliday being skipped over for NL MVP, although I don't see how any knowledgeable baseball writer could overlook Holliday's awesomeness. We'll find out in a couple more weeks when the NL MVP is voted on and announced.

That's really ffff... fouled up! Popularity contests, that's all these post-season awards are. It's just inconceivable that either one was ignored -- because face it, they weren't just overlooked, they were flat-out ignored!

So, yeah, Holliday's gonna get the big hose job of ignorance too just because it's inconceivable that he would be overlooked.

Sometimes it sucks to be a Rockies fan. I tell ya, [twisting head about and tugging on neck tie] we get no respect!

The Rockies hosing continues as Troy Tulowitzki was overlooked for Rookie-of-the-Year honors in favor of, Ryan Braun of Milwaukee, a power-hitting 3rd baseman who led the entire major league in errors and played the first two months of the season at AAA.

Never mind that Tulowitzki made the fewest number of errors in the most number of tries for all major league shortstops, in addition to his huge offensive numbers such at 24 home runs -- most of ANY major league shortstop.

When will "Baseball Writers" learn that baseball consists of offense AND defense? When pigs fly out of my butt!
