Franklin Morales as the best Rox pitching prospect?

Wow. That is quite a statement and it was not made by me...
It was made by Troy Renck in this weekend's Sunday Denver Post.
His reasons? Franklin Morales is extra-gifted, beyond Ubaldo, in that he's got the goods (90+ fastball, deceptive to lefties) and he's got a little bit of the 'Wild Thing' in him, oh ya and he's a rare breed in that he's a lefty and can bring the heat.

But while I am intrigued by what Morales can eventually offer I think we'll be seeing over a dozen wins from our man Ubaldo this season. He's supposedly put on at least 15 pounds (all muscle) and has the confidence in knowing that he was just as good as Schilling in game 2 of the World Series.
I think with his nasty fastball, capable of 100-mph numbers, and his low-90s slider and his tall lanky appearance he's basically an up and coming Randy Johnson junior. He doesn't scare the bajesus out of them like Randy does (or did; remember deer-in-headlights Mike Piazza facing him about a decade ago?) but he does bring the goods like Randy.
Hopefully he can find the strikezone this season.

T Minus just barely less than a month till we go to see them in person.

-Mendoza's 5280 (ways to strike batters out without using fear).
